About Me
Hello and welcome to my website!
My name is Amanda Dallow and I am so honored to announce the creation of my new business Amanda Lee Holistic Health!
I have been a Registered Nurse since 2014 with experience in Emergency, Women’s Health/Surgery, Post-Partum, Home Care, and Surgical Recovery, working in EMS and Occupational Health and Safety prior to going to Nursing school. A graduate of MacEwan University’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing, I have gladly devoted my life to helping those in my home town Edmonton in hospital and home care settings, and now I am excited to start deepening my holistic health care practice in the community. My desire to move into the community is based on my wish to spend more time with clients one-on-one and in groups, focusing not only on the physical health concerns, but also their emotional, mental, social and spiritual health needs. As I have seen in recent times our population’s health has had an impact not only on the health care and educational systems, but on the entirety of the Canadian economy. The health and wellness of Canadians is important to the overall functioning of our society and unfortunately there have been times were there are little resources in the community to help support Canadians, putting added pressure on an already stressed healthcare system.
My passion for serving those in the community and creating resources that can help the healthcare system thrive led me to enrol in the Comprehensive Holistic Nurse & Nurse Coaching Program: An Integrative Approach to Holistic Care of Self and Others program through the Canadian Institute for Integrative Nursing Development and Education (CIINDE), of which I completed in 2022 and became a CIINDE Certified Holistic Nurse Coach (CCHNC). I am excited to work with clients one-on-one and in groups to help support them to become empowered in their own health, to feel motivated to make health changes, and to feel that they are experiencing health, wellness and happiness to their fullest potential, as defined by them. I am truly interested in supporting health in the community by teaching holistic health care practices so we can lessen the burden on the acute care settings and hopefully increase good health care practices in the community for all and for life.
I want to thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I am very excited to start working with you as a “whole” being, recognizing your own strengths, talents, and lived experiences that are unique to you. I do not discriminate or judge, but rather try to connect with you on a human level with empathy and understanding that we are all trying our best to live our best life.
Thank you again for visiting my website. I am so excited to see how Holistic Nurse Coaching makes a positive impact on the Canadian healthcare system, and I am so excited to possibly start a journey with you to improved health and wellness. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, and please browse my website for more information.
I wish you all the very best on your life journey. Take care!
